in theory this sounds kind of interesting and i have to admit that i'm a little curious to see how they spin a classic. i think i read pride and prejudice years ago before there was a jane austen surge in popularity, but i really dont remember much of the premise.
that being said tho, i'm sure that austen would roll in her grave if she knew what was happening to her book. zombies? perish the thought!
i wonder if this is now going to start a literary revolt to get new readers interested and passionate about the classics? can you imagine future classes discussing these books and talking about the zombies? must we zombiefy everything in order to make it more interesting? if you ask me it's a sad commentary on present day life.
