i know this sounds totally insane, but i'm going to plan to read the bible this year. of course i dont believe 99% of anything written within it, but according to most scholars, a lot of our cultural references come from this book.
i have a daily reading suggestion list for 365 days. just a small section each day until the year ends. i've tried to do this before and got bored silly. i'm going to try again and see how far i get. it's quite doubtful that anything will come of this, but i'm just going to do it for kicks and see where i get from here.
i'm not crazy. trust me.
