lists

i function well with lists.

here's my list of things which have to be finished this year (or i'll go mental):

1. fix the bi-fold doors on my closet and the washing machine closet
2. fix the 2 gates
3. fix the lawn where the dogs have peed
4. fix the weather stripping on the front door (since i just discovered today that rain seeps in when north winds BLAST the fucking house)
5. fix the scratches and dings on the walls
6. get the locks re-tooled
7. get a new handset for the garage man door

what makes my head spin is this house is only 7 yrs old and needs all this shit...the gates are newer still...it all seems very overwhelming at times...

i just wish that chris and i were handy because it would be no problem to fix the stuff we need, but we'll have to hire out people and it's a matter of just doing it, i suppose...
