aloe news
it got to the point where the plant has more than outgrown its pot. ch knocked it over one day and i heard the devastating KA-THUNK as it wetly hit the ground. several stalks broke off in the process, but otherwise the creature was strong.
i transplanted it to a heavy MOFO planter which is about 2 feet high and about the same width around. i bought a rolling stand so that i could move it and turn the plant. i'm thinking that with plant, soil, and pot, the damned thing is far too heavy to move. this should be the aloe's final resting place for a few years. i'll need a crane to repot it in the future.
pictures to follow....
well the aloe plant is still alive and kicking. getting bigger by the day. right now it has six offshoots by its roots in various stages of growing.
