maui? WOW-i!!

so we made it here to maui.  it's awesome.  weather is good, although our dinner tonight was compromised by a rain squall.  they passed around towels but they didnt really help the situation.  it's hard to cut your chicken when you're juggling a towel.

i opted for the peace and quiet of the room instead.

we do have a nice room.  it's fairly standard in terms of the westin brand of rooms.  we have never had difficulty with their rooms in the past...the westin/sheraton group is always reliable and of good quality.

the flight was uneventful.  watched the blind side, went piss one hundred times, drank beer, slept, listened to the ipod.  6 hrs kind of blew by and then we were landing in a fog of clouds which gave way to a green island and hills.  we snaked our way through the island and arrived here 45 mins later.

our room is in the beach tower which provides a beautiful northwest view of the ocean.  we can see the island of moloka'i from our deck.
